Keeley Hawes is the senior cop in a tight spot this time – but isn't she a bit too glam to convince as a hardened police officer? Actually, no, she's a revelation here. She's Dectective Constable Kate Fleming, who comes under the spotlight of the anti-corruption squad (Martin Compston, Vicky McClure, Adrian Dunbar) following the ambush of a night-time escort of a vital witness that she is in charge of. Keeley Hawes dresses down and looks the part, and she is a difficult character to get a handle on. Just what you want in a suspenseful corruption thriller full of intrigue.
