Dobrodružná fantasy vypráví o přátelství osamělého skotského chlapce a příšerky Crusoe, která se vyklubala z nalezeného vejce. Jenže trochu moc rychle roste a Angus ji musí ochránit před nevítanou pozorností okolí. Tak se zrodí legenda… Dobrodružná fantasy natočená podle oblíbené dětské knížky Dicka King-Smithe vypráví o chlapci ze Skotska, který při osamělých toulkách podél pobřeží najde podivné, tajemné vejce. Vyklube se z něj příšerka, která vypadá jako cosi mezi dinosaurem a hadem, Angus jí dá jméno Crusoe a stanou se z nich blízcí přátelé. Jenže příšera trochu moc rychle roste a chlapec musí najít způsob, jak svého kamaráda ochránit před objevením a zajistit mu bezpečí. A tak se zrodí legenda… Hrají Axel Etel, Emily Watsonová, Ben Chaplin ad. Speciální efekty zajistily týmy, jež se podílely na natáčení trilogie Pán prstenů. (oficiálny text distribútora)
