Pripravte sa na to, že táto žena by zviedla kohokoľvek. Strhujúci životný príbeh výstrednej mexickej maliarky Fridy Kahlo (Salma Hayek). Jej život bol ako búrka, plný radosti, ale aj smútku. Lásky, ale aj sklamaní. Milostných afér a samozrejme, čo by to bol za život bez fatálneho vzťahu s jej manželom Diegom Riverom (Alfred Molina). Navyše jej život nie je iba umenie. Stala sa známou aj vďaka politike, či sexuálnej revolúcii. Prvá polovica dvadsiateho storočia v Mexiku patrí tejto žene so všetkým, čo k tomu patrí. Mimoriadne úspešný film znamenal pre Salmu Hayek životnú úlohu, za ktorú si dokonca vyslúžila nomináciu na Oscara. Film zo šiestich nomináciami získal napokon dvoch Oscarov.
