Pred desiatimi rokmi zasiahla rodinu Russellovcov obrovská tragédia, ktorá navždy zmenila život dospievajúcich súrodencov Tima a Kaylie. Chlapca odsúdili za brutálnu vraždu svojich rodičov do nápravného ústavu. Teraz, keď ho už ako dvadsaťročného prepustili na slobodu, snaží sa na minulosť zabudnúť a začať normálny život. Kaylie je však stále prenasledovaná tou osudnou nocou, keďže je presvedčená, že smrť ich rodičov zapríčinilo niečo nadprirodzené. Verí, že zlovoľné sily sa k nim dostali cez starožitné zrkadlo v ich rodnom dome. Aby Kaylie dokázala Timovu nevinu, vypátra staré zrkadlo a nájde informácie o záhadných úmrtiach, ktoré sa stali jeho predchádzajúcim majiteľom. Po získaní rôznych nových poznatkov v snahe vyriešiť vraždu rodičov však súrodenci zájdu príliš ďaleko a neuvedomia si, že znova rozpútali nočnú moru svojho detstva. (Steny94)
