Když Lamya se svou matkou prchá ze syrského Aleppa, smí si na cestu vzít knihu slavného básníka z 13. století Rúmího. V jeho poezii Lamya nachází inspiraci během cesty do neznáma a také v ní potkává mladého Rúmího, jehož ve svých představách doprovází na jeho útěku před válkou. Společně se musí postavit zlu a právě Lamya nakonec dovede Rúmího k napsání básně, která jí samotné o osm set let později zachrání život. (Febiofest)
