Gentlemani (2024) (seriál)
V životě bych nevěřil, že po perfektně propracovaném filmu se můžeme dočkat stejně libově naservírovanému kousku v seriálovém podání. Tohle je vtipné, strhující, nesmírně jsem do děje a postav zažraný a jen z dálky pozoruji exhibici Guye Ritchieho. Je to zkrátka storyteller par excellance, který vytváří moc působivé kulisy, kde věci na sebe navazují, diváka neustále něčím překvapuje a ty jeho výhybky jiným směrem prostě jinde nenajdeme. Do toho, nezastírám, mám moc rád anglické prostředí, nebo spíše filmové prostředí, akcenty, takže tohle je jednoduše něco, na co jsem po konci Sex Edu, nebo Top Boyi čekal. Moc si to užívám a posílám děkuji do světa.
Elementy (2023)
Názorově jsem na stejné vlně jako tvůrci a jsem neskutečně rád, že se formou animáků dají podat a vysvětlit, tak ožehavá témata jako je migrace, integrace, kulturní rozdíly, diskriminace, ale i mezigenerační rozdíly. Dále se zde skvěle zaměřují na umění riskovat, důvěry k partneru, strachu z nového, ale i snaze jít za svým snem. Je to trochu komunikace o rozdílu mezi tradicí a individualitou, což je něco velmi aktuálního v dnešním světě. I kdyby ale byl film mnohem jednodušší byl bych celkem spokojen, protože mě ty element potvůrky dokázali strhnout, pobavit, dojmout a vůbec tam nebylo potřeba přidat jakéhokoliv záporáka. Pro mě jednoznačně animák rok zatím, mnohem lepší než V Hlavě, nebo Zoopolis, byť se místy o stejné filmy opírá. Takže děkuji moc, že se děti touto skvělou formou i trochu vzdělávají a dost doufám, že empatie a liberální nastavení, které panuje o vodákovi rodiny, bude na více a více místech.

Jasně, je to obšlehlý kdo ví odkud, ale na druhou stranu to působí jako menší osvěta v určitých profesí a náš lid si alespoň trochu rozšíří obzory. Navíc to obsazení je skvělý, Prachař perlí, nějaká slečna, jen ten Ondřej by nemusel být v každém díle. Jinak ale nadstandard.

NETFLIX EXPIRATION
For the first time ever netflix's lost quite significant number of subscribers and is losing hard. Truth to be told, there are many crucial points that contributes to the fall of this revolutionary and pioneering company that completely changed the notion of movie broadcasting. One of the inextricable reasons why people leave this site is obviously russian invasion. In this case we can't balme this company, on the contrary. They've stand up for Ukraine, even lost its clientel and posted the documentary about events in Ukraine in 2014 - awesome and admirable approach - sincerely. However, there are many occasions in which the company failed. They used to be the type of company that prefered the quality over quantity - that's why people were raving about it and felt astonished by the numerous jaw dropping shows that our eyes have not seen before. Now, Netflix is been in the bussiness for several years, they are still in debt and to assure the influx of subscribers they need to reorient to any commercial sell-out imaginable. It might work for new less-picky people, however Netflix is losing the grip over the loyal ones. I've been with the company for more or less 5 years now. Still, I am under the impression it is so short, maybe the reason is I've been hooked on watching anything for way too long. There are shows that are visceral, brutal, provacative - something like Black Mirror or film El Hoyo, type. Sadly enough, these days are numbered and honestly, I can't select a movie on Netflix. How the hell not do you ask? Strangely enough, I presume I am overwhelmed by the number of options that we simply don't knwo what to choose. We have no clear idea what to watch in the first place, shows are getting more trivial and straightforward and we cast our sight on youtube or simply find out movies out of Netflix reach. That's why I've decided to cut it out for now. It was a crazy ride full of surprises and holy fuck moments, lots of new characters and notions but it is time to let go. If only I could watch Netflix movies on TV, then I'd be reluctant to take this step. There is also one trifle that I'll dwell on - smart downloading. Even if I was offline there were many movies and shows that I could simpyl download and watch while I was away. That's why I could watch La Casa de Papel in Scotland before entering the Highlands or watching The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind while returning home on the bus full of Ukrainians soon-to-be martyrs. Thus I'd like to input my the list of my top 10 Netflix Original Series, that nicely reflect on its true purpose and visionary.
